Chicken tikka dosa and masala egg dosa were recommended by the courteous and patient restaurant staff, Shivangi and Manoj. Fun vibes, great service, and reasonable prices. Will visit again soon!

Wow. This is the worst meal I've had anywhere in a long time.
I ordered the Lamb Paneer and Mixed Vegetables Curry. It tasted like they put a whole shaker of salt on both dishes. I asked them to remake it thinking that they had added the salt at the end of the prep. The 2nd version came out tasting like the 1st.
Inedible. I threw it out. They apologized as I was leaving saying that it is all premade. I would not return. -

I generally don't leave reviews but I have had food here twice and it was awful.
Sambar was like rasam (completely watery)
Chutney was cold. They did not bother to even heat it up.
There was not sufficient level of salt in dosa.
Finally the vada was again cold and yellow inside and a bit granular.
These were the only items that I had. Not sure about the other dishes. I am a South Indian and so writing this review based on that taste pallet. -

The poor quality of Dosa Factory's food is not a secret in the Cambridge community, but after two weeks in Bangalore eating a dosa for breakfast every day, I found myself on Mass Av with a craving. How bad can a dosa be, after all?
Let's start with the chutneys. The sambar and coconut chutney were not too bad, but the tomato chutney tasted like Hunt's tomato sauce. Awful.
Onto the dosa itself, it was a story of contrasts. Parts were so soft that I couldn't help but wonder if they were undercooked, while other sections had the texture of potato chips, and wouldn't hold together long enough for me to dip in the sambar.
I've had the paneer pakore here before, and those are not too bad. -

It is located in the back of a grocery store so don't expect 5 star treatment. Better for takeout. Food taste is average but the seating place is not that great. Don't expect ambiance and cleanliness.
Samosas, dosas and galeebis are recommended. They get galeebis from NY and if you are lucky and get there the day they have it, they are worth trying!
